This patient is a 75 year old woman who was bothered for many years by the excessive fatty tissue of her knees. Liposuction was performed to correct this accumulation. The After photos were taken 3 months post surgery.

Is Liposuction for Me?

Liposuction (saline-assisted lipoplasty) is a surgical procedure to remove fat from the subcutaneous areas of the body. It is especially effective in such areas as the face, neck, upper arms, torso, abdomen, buttock, thighs, legs, and knees. Liposuction improves body contours and shape, but it is not a replacement for weight loss. It is particularly effective for the removal of unwanted fat from body areas that do not respond to diet and/or exercise.
